My Work
Just a few of my favorite pictures from over the years.
Solar Eclipse, October 14, 2023 - South Texas
After driving almost 2 hours to get to a good site to view the eclipse, the clouds started to completely cover the sky, so we hopped in the car and drove as fast as we (legally) could to get as far from the clouds as possible…..and we found a good spot for the eclipse right next to a cemetery along the rural Texas backroads. And if it weren’t for some cloud-cover obscuring the eclipse every now-and-then, I wouldn’t have gotten this shot. Take it for what you want, but the randomness of the clouds, and the simple fact that there was some cloud cover, provided a much more interesting photograph for my memories.
It’s not the tools, it’s the craftsman.
My tiny Sony camera paired with a telescope proves that it’s the craftsman, not the tools, that make the piece of art.
